Meet Our Renton, WA Dentists

Dr. Brandon Ford

Dr. Brandon Ford completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington in 2006. He then went on to study dentistry at the University of Washington graduating from the School of Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Ford has also completed additional training on CEREC same-day dental crowns.

Following his studies, Dr. Ford and his family moved to Las Vegas so he could complete a one-year general dentistry residency. After his residency, he practiced for three years in Colorado. Now, as a dentist for Renton Dental Arts, he has the great fortune to meet and interact with different types of people every day.

Originally from Littleton, Colorado, Dr. Ford is married and has a daughter and a son. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, snow skiing, boating, traveling, and volunteering with his church. Dr. Brandon also lived in Mongolia for a while and can speak Mongolian.

Dr. Chad Merkel

Dr. Merkel completed his undergraduate studies at Western Washington University, and then enrolled at the University of Washington to study dentistry. In the years since graduating, he’s had the pleasure of helping patients achieve greater health and confidence through exceptional care. He also received advanced training in creation and placement of one-visit CEREC crowns.

Dr. Merkel is married to his beautiful wife, Kristi, and they have a playful dog named Brodie. When he’s not helping patients, enjoys playing golf and watching the Seahawks play.

 

Dr. Brian Brancheau

Dr. Brian Brancheau completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Western Washington University in 2003.  He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington in 2012.  He then completed a 3-year residency program in Periodontics at the UW, receiving his Masters of Science in Dentistry in 2015.

As a board-eligible Periodontist, Dr. Brancheau has specialized training in treating periodontal disease, including bone grafting and gum grafting.  He also has advanced training in dental implants, including extraction and immediate implant placement.  His Masters research on bone grafting with dental implants has been presented at national dental society meetings.  He also is a part-time affiliate faculty member at the UW.  His goal is to make treatment for patients as comfortable and successful as possible, using the latest minimally-invasive techniques.

Originally from Edmonds, WA, Dr. Brancheau now lives in Seattle and enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest.  He enjoys backpacking, running, skiing and many outdoor activities.  His hobbies outside of dentistry include playing music and photography.
