Meet Our Renton, WA Dental Team

Katie Borthwick – Registered Dental Hygienist

Katie has been a dental hygienist for more than six years, two of which have been spent as part of our fabulous team. Before starting her dental career, she studied at the University of Washington and Yakima Valley Community College. Katie has two sisters and is close to her family. When she’s not helping patients she enjoys Pilates, and dances for a small dance company in Seattle. She also loves interior decorating and hosting dinner parties.

Linda Di Pasquale – Registered Dental Hygienist

Of the 40 years Linda has spent in dentistry, 29 of those have been with our office. As a hygienist, she has an opportunity to serve both new patients and longtime friends. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she previously studied at Erie Community College. Linda and her husband have two grown daughters one of whom is a dentist. When she’s not helping patients, Linda enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, and going to the gym. She also had the opportunity to study cooking in Italy in 2015.

Cathy Lesar – Dental Hygienist

Cathy has been an important part of our practice for 27 years. In addition to completing dental cleanings for patients, she believes in teaching others how to take better care of their teeth in between visits. Cathy received her high school diploma from Wallace High School in Idaho before attending Carroll College in Helena, Montana.  Cathy completed her Bachelor of Science in 1983. Since then, she has actively continued to learn and grow as a hygienist. Cathy and her husband have been married for 30 years and they have two grown sons, both of whom are attending the USAFA in Colorado Springs. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, and visiting her boys.

Debbie Scott – Dental Hygienist

Debbie has been helping us create clean, beautiful smiles for over 32 years. With every patient, she finds an opportunity to learn from them, just as she hopes they learn something from her. Originally from Virginia, Debbie’s military family moved a lot when she was growing up. Now she’s married and has four children of her own. She loves spending time with them and also enjoys water skiing. Someday she would like to check out Australia’s wine country.

Linda Lutes – Dental Hygienist

Linda has worked in dentistry for more than 50 years. She first studied dental hygiene at the University of Washington. In the 35 years that she’s been a member of our team, she’s helped countless patients achieve healthier and more beautiful smiles. Linda has also taught dental hygiene at Pierce Community College for nearly a decade. Originally from Fresno, California, Linda and her husband have been married for 40 years. Together they have three daughters and seven grandchildren. Linda’s hobbies include skiing, waterskiing, roller skating, and bike riding. She also enjoys reading, DIY projects, and crafting.

Shelly Sauls – Lead Dental Assistant

Shelly has been with our practice for 18 great years. As our lead dental assistant, she loves the variety that comes with helping new patients every day. Prior to joining our team, she studied at Renton Technical College. After hours, she enjoys watching movies and spending time with her family. Shelly is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have one son.

Natalie Robinson – Certified Dental Assistant

As one of our dental assistants, Natalie always does what she can to turn every dental appointment into a great experience for the patient. She studied at Whatcom Community College and Bellingham Technical College and has a total of nine years’ experience in dentistry. Natalie and her husband have one daughter and one cat. Away from the office, she enjoys reading, singing, hot yoga, and watching the Mariners. One day she hopes to visit Israel with her sketchbook.

Kimmy Cook – Dental Assistant

As one of our office’s dental assistants, Kimmy has two goals: help patients achieve optimum oral health and give them the confidence to smile again. Before joining our team, she studied at Renton Technical College. Kimmy married her husband in 2015, and is expecting her first child in early 2016. Away from the office, her interests include reading, visiting the beach as much as possible, and watching football.

Chelsia Macri – Patient Coordinator and Dental Assistant

As our patient care coordinator, Chelsia helps us welcome patients to their appointments. She loves having the opportunity to form new relationships every day and strives to greet others by their first name. Chelsia studied at Clover Park Technical College and has an associate degree in dental assisting. She also has a large family she loves spending time with. Her interests include arts and crafts, spending time with her boyfriend, and playing card games like Magic: The Gathering. When she was in high school, she was the captain of the girls wrestling team.

Amanda Hooper – Sterilization Tech/Hygiene Assistant

Amanda is new to dentistry and new to our office. She previously studied at Green River Community College and loves having the opportunity to help so many others with their smiles. Amanda’s interests include art, graphic design, and photography.

Dannette Hooper – Office Manager

Dannette has been an essential part of our team for more than 12 years, using her considerable expertise to help us create a warm, welcoming practice patients love. In addition to her thirty-plus years’ experience in dentistry, she has also studied at Renton Technical College. Away from the office, Dannette loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband and two grown children. She loves staying active and enjoys watching her favorite football and basketball teams play. Her family also sponsors a sixth grade boy’s basketball team, which her son coaches.

Carol Hanratty – Billing/Insurance

Carol has been a valuable member of our team for more than 11 years. Her total experience in dentistry is closer to 20 years, with some time off to raise her children. She loves being part of a team that’s dedicated to giving patients the very best in care. Away from the office, Carol enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. She has two grown children and one granddaughter.
