Dr. Ben Choi is a periodontist and implant surgeon with advanced training in periodontal regeneration, dental implants, and soft tissue procedures. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University and completed specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the University of Washington, where he also obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD).
With a background in general dentistry prior to specialization, Dr. Choi works closely with restorative dentists to support comprehensive, team-based patient care. His clinical focus includes dental implant placement, bone and sinus augmentation, guided bone regeneration (GBR), soft tissue grafting, crown lengthening, and management of periodontal and peri-implant disease.
Dr. Choi also serves as Affiliate Faculty at the University of Washington and participates in continuing education programs for dentists, teaching implant surgery, bone grafting, and soft tissue management. He has advanced training in LANAP® laser therapy, IV sedation, and soft tissue phenotype modification and is a Kois Recognized Specialist.
Dr. Choi is committed to collaborative specialty care and works closely with referring dentists to ensure patients receive coordinated, high-quality treatment.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choi enjoys spending time with his family and is the father of two daughters, ages 11 and 6.
